Meet Laura Friedman of Lulu’s Cookie Bar

Today we’d like to introduce you to Laura Friedman.

Hi Laura, can you start by introducing yourself? We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always had a passion for baking. My grandmother was a fabulous baker and I loved being in the kitchen with her, sneaking a taste of cake batter or cookie dough when she turned her head. I’ve been a stay at home mom of three kids for 19 years and enjoyed baking for their school fundraisers and other community and family events. Friends and family always encouraged me to turn my passion into a business.

Last year was a huge turning point for me personally, with kids no longer needing hands on mom and the realization that I wanted to explore the possibility of turning this into a viable business. The pandemic brought a new set of challenges and more time on my hands, I needed to submerge myself into a project, thus, Lulu’s Cookie Bar emerged from an idea I had years ago but was too lacking in time, direction and confidence to start. This truly has been a dream of mine for years and I am happy to be living that dream! Lulu’s Cookie Bar is a custom cookie company whereby the customer selects from five different cookie base flavors, chooses from a multitude of mix-ins and there you have it, custom cookies. We offer Keto, Vegan and gluten free options as well.
